What is oozing out of our ground that allows this type of effect to happen? Not just around our sun and moon anymore, everywhere we look. The visible spectrum is rainbows. This cannot be natural. We all know it wasn't something that happened 20 years ago, but is happening now.

...I'd say somebody hasn't been taking their correct dosage of medication, and that video is the result of it :-P

I found her youtube account it's dabootsdiva if you want to look. All of her videos are like that. She believes in this conspiracy about some government project called HAARP, and it's supposedly doing studies on Americans. She also did another video where she claims there's "radioactive smog" and to prove it she switches her camera to "infared" mode and, of course, the spots where the sun is shining turns out bright white.

Sometimes I wish I could live in a conspiracy addled world. I imagine it would be much more exciting.

In defense of this poor woman: I see no clear evidence of stupidity, just ignorance. She makes claims that are obviously wrong, but some lessons in physics might put that right.

Only when someone tried to give her that education and she would hit back with statements like "science is only true in its context", or "rainbows are undefinable" or "Water is too vague a subject to discuss", only then would I consider her stupid and beyond reason.

Perhaps a class in Physics would clear this matter up, but there would be others. I think she needs a class in formal logic!

That too. Absolutely.

Then again: The full rebuttal of her claim would be "I have a written description of a rainbow in a sprinkler, written up in 1937. The rainbows you see do not indicate any change in water since then."

It doesn't take formal logic to understand that argument. Common sense would do - but then again, common sense isn't that common.

Sadly, the longer I live the more I realise how true this is.

At first when I watched the video, I didn't really laugh. But realising that she's fair dinkum about what she's saying, I watched it again! Quality.

Going on a hypothetical that she isn't mentally ill (which I think she probably is).
Does anyone here think she'll actually be interested in hearing the true explanation behind the phenomenon? or do you reckon she'll just ignore it and continue on being irrational?

She later took the video down and accepted that she was wrong. But not about the whole HAARP thing.

The maker of the video has a whole lot of "that's undefinable", "you lack the education to have an opinion" and "everything is the conspiracy" to go before reaching the level of insanity of SySy.

Well considering you haven't been able to define religion successfully, and you didn't know that the Southern Baptist Convention does not preach works-righteousness, I think I'm on some solid ground. Even though I never said any of those things.

And I think comparing God to HAARP displays your confusion. But that ain't the topic, the topic is how rainbows are going to kill us all.

I still think they're trying to give us teh ghey. Probably through fluoridation, that is a sprinkler after all. They're sabotaging our precious bodily fluids!
